the breakfast was a disaster, just a sad display of stale pastries and inedible eggs. I was hoping for a complimentary upgrade, but apparently, that’s reserved for special guests only, how lovely. I nearly wanted to give a good review but just couldn’t.

The stay was quite enjoyable, especially with the warm ambiance of the beautifully restored building. The views from the garden during breakfast were stunning, creating a peaceful atmosphere to start the day. Exploring the area, including the nearby attractions like the Medieval Village and the Mineral Park Museum, added a unique touch to our visit. Our stay at Convento San Bartolomeo was truly enchanting. The stunning restoration of the historic building made us feel as though we had stepped back in time. We loved the warm hospitality from the staff, especially Mariana, who shared fascinating stories about the convent's history. Waking up to a delightful breakfast spread and sipping coffee by the beautiful garden was the perfect start to our day. The heated pool offered breathtaking views of the valley, creating a serene atmosphere for relaxation.

While the experience was overwhelmingly positive, the parking options were somewhat limited, which could pose a challenge during busier times. We also wished there were more organized tours available to explore the surrounding areas more thoroughly.

The staff were genuinely helpful. and the atmosphere was so calm. I spent hours reading by the pool with stunning views of the Tuscan hills. Breakfast had a wonderful variety, with fresh prosciutto and delicious sweet breads.
